Fundraiser for Phyllis Elliott
Phyllis Elliott

Salty Lane Farm of Derry, NH, is holding a silent auction and bake sale to benefit the Elliott family of Brentwood, NH this weekend, April 5 and 6, at their farm on Lane Road.  It will run until 2 p.m. Sunday, April 6.

Lifelong horsewoman, Quarter Horse owner, 4-H leader and youth mentor Phyllis Elliott suffered severe facial injuries when she was kicked by one of her horses on St. Patrick's Day.  After spending 11 days at Beth Israel hospital in Boston and undergoing an 11-hour surgery to repair and reconstruct her shattered facial bones, Phyllis spent another week at a rehab facility in Exeter before coming home to recuperate.  Fortunately there was no brain injury and she is expected to make a complete recovery.
